Keep Calm and Carry On

image

I saw this memo holder in Books-A-Million (affectionately dubbed Books-A-Couple by my friends in college ) and had to have it. It’s become a bit of a life mantra with me dealing with so many new challenges with all the aches and pains I get from the fibro.

The saying is originally an old British WWII government poster from 1939. Meant to raise public morale in the event of an invasion,  it has come to represent encouragement for me in life’s struggles. The slogan was rediscovered in 2000 and can be found through numerous sources, one being http://www.keepcalmandcarryon.com

  1. Brilliant! Our ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ merchandise was perfect for our recent brush with hurricane Irene here in NYC. Take a look: http://wp.me/p1FPR6-69
